Delivery/Shipping Policy

For orders outside of Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas area:

All shipping charges are based on weight and distance. We use UPS ground service, unless otherwise requested.  Shipping rates are calculated from zip code 76092 in Southlake, Texas. 

Orders are generally shipped Monday - Friday with the exclusion of major holidays.  Orders received before 10am central will be shipped the same day, otherwise it is shipped the next business day. 

On occasion, items can be temporarily out of stock.  In this case, we would notify you at the time the order is placed. Out of stock items are usually shipped within 3-5 days.  If you need a product immediately, please notify us when placing your order. 

We are always happy to substitute other sizes or like items with your approval.  Frozen Food order that require UPS shipping must select overnight shipping and must also include purchase of a shipping cooler and dry ice.  If you would like more information regarding shipping rates please contact

Metro Pet Services provides FREE delivery throughout the DFW Metroplex. All areas have a specific delivery day during the week. Please visit our Delivery page for more information:

All orders must be submitted by 3:00 p.m. the day BEFORE your scheduled delivery. Orders may be placed through our web site (, via phone (817) 329-7387, or fax (817) 329-7352.

Most customers are not home when our drivers arrive; therefore products are typically left at the front door in an inconspicuous location out of the elements. You will find your order there along with a receipt.
